“I first met Karen and Chris at the end of 2008 as a close friend referred them to me. Due to unforeseen economic factors my search was put on hold until this year, however they respectively kept in contact through market updates and periodic check-ins. I finally purchased a house in May of this year in SF and am very fortunate to have been able to work with them throughout the entire process. The condo I bought was not a property at first I would have considered (unattractive floor/wall colors, lack of staging) however their expertise saw a property with lots of potential and now I couldn't be happier.

Karen and Chris bring a very personal and enthusiastic yet professional touch to buying or selling a home in San Francisco, always with their clients needs at the forefront. They go above and beyond what is expected of an agent starting from their initial meetings to aiding in contractor work even after transaction has occurred. Karen's strengths are in her deep understanding of what both the current buyer and future buyers (as no buyer wants to buy a house that they wont be able to sell in the future) want while respecting the buyer's price range. She is very detail-oriented which allows her to differentiate properties in a timely manner. I found this particularly useful as no one wants to spend countless Sundays wasting time at open houses of places that don't fit your style or preferences. Chris's strengths are more in the backend as he focuses more on the actual contract itself and negotiations. Having a law background (as does Karen) I felt assured when going through the documents, which is also something I believe separates this duo, as the agent on the other side of my transaction did not appear to not have read all the documents. This attention to detail was critical during negotiations and I have Chris to thank.

I highly recommend Karen and Chris.”
